This year's fair offers numerous opportunities to participate and earn prizes and ribbons. A
complete listing of available areas to enter is listed in our fair book. These books are available
from the County Extension Office or the Fairgrounds. Some 100+ commercial exhibits will be available
and open to enjoy, plus local food booths will help satisfy your food needs.
Rides & Games
Drew
Expositions, provider of games and rides for the past 12 years, will provide some 60+ games and
rides for the ten day event. Thrilling rides, games and outstanding food will all be available
for you. Also enjoy live performances from local and area entertainers, plus Wrestling, Petting Zoos, Sea
Lion Splash and Racing Pigs.
Special Pricing
This year's
many specials are available to save admission, which is normally $6.00 for adults, $3.00
for ages 4-12, and children under 3, when attended, get in free! Sunday, October 24th will be $3.00
for Seniors (over 60) and $3.00 for anyone bringing their current church bulletin until 6:00 p.m. Opening
Day Special - Oct. 21 - Thursday - Admission $1.00 - All Rides $1.00 each. Sunday - unlimited rides for everyone
- 1 to 6 p.m. - for $15.00.

during the week includes the pageant for Miss North Georgia Ag Fair.

October 20, 8:00 - 5:30 p.m. - some 2100 entries in 2009 - open to all area residents - Fair Book with all entries listed
available from the Fair Office.
Special Opening Day October 21 - $1.00 admission and $1.00 rides.
Ride-A-Thon (unlimited rides) Monday,
Tuesday and Thursday (October 28) - pay one price ($20.00) for unlimited rides!
Exotic Petting Zoo for all animal lovers, plus Pony Rides!
Livestock Exhibits
with beautiful animals on display - Sheep, Swine, Beef, Poultry, Water Foul, etc.

Georgia Lottery during the North Georgia Ag Fair, October 21-30 at the North Georgia Fairgrounds. Georgia
Lottery Day is October 23.
Live AWA Wrestling each Saturday night and Thursday (Oct. 28) with some 6 matches each night.

Food - Food - Food of all kinds and types! Carnival food plus local cooking available through the church
and clubs.
Scholarships
$1,000 scholarship awarded to a student in Whitfield County.
